Meet Chef Steven Williams, Owner of Coastal Kitchen. A Savannah native and Culinary Institute of Savannah graduate, Chef Williams brings years of high-end culinary experience from across the East Coast back to his hometown. As the proud owner of Coastal Kitchen, he specializes in crafting exquisite menus for home entertainment, weddings, and corporate events, always with an emphasis on fresh, local ingredients and unforgettable culinary experiences.

We contracted Coastal Kitchen Catering for our son and his fiance's Engagement Party in downtown Savannah. Owner/Chef Steven Williams embraced our theme by offering us simply exquisite food options. The couple wanted a casual yet classy vibe. Chef Steven suggested a station setup from his extensive menu. The couple chose two offerings- shrimp pasta and chicken and waffles. Chef Steven selected wild GA shrimp as he works closely with local vendors. Everyone was pleasantly surprised by the chicken and waffles! Every guest raved about the food selections. In fact, a family member, who is in the development/fundraising sector and has hired numerous caterers over the years, was very impressed by the food and the presentation. I would concur. The Coastal Kitchen Catering staff arrived early to prep and remained highly attentive replenishing the food and drink selections throughout the event. Their attention to detail was spot on. No matter what size event, Chef Steven can work closely with you to achieve your vision.

We used this caterer for my sister’s bachelorette and they were amazing! The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was a hit. We loved being able to experience the Southern Cuisine in the comfort of the AirBNB we stayed at. They were super easy to work with and made awesome suggestions that fit us Jersey girls perfectly. Highly recommend for any event!

Steven and his team are always a pleasure to work with, as a fellow wedding vendor. They communicate well and arrive on time prepared. The food is always amazing and I don't think I've seen the same menu twice in working multiple events over the past few years. I have sampled food from hundreds of weddings in this area and can definitely say Steven's ranks among the best that is being served. I've worked with Steven and his team across multiple events. They're always on time and have a perfect game plan to execute delicious food no matter the venue. 100% incredible person/staff and the most impressive and delicious food from a caterer I have experienced to date. Steven and his staff made our wedding reception one that people still talk about.
We had about 160 people, including band, staff etc and Steven took care of everyone. Leading up to the wedding, we did a tasting with him, we asked many questions, and even asked for certain tweaks on how things were made. He was very responsive and also open to our ideas. I did not get the sense that any recipe was too rigid for him to accommodate requests and the talent was high enough for him to do recipes that you would suggest.
The team player mindset showed how committed he and his staff were to achieve the absolute top level of quality that they delivered. And like I mentioned to start, I have had catering all over the state and have been to many weddings, but i would not trade my experience with Coastal Kitchen for any of the other experiences.

Wow! What a pleasure to work with everyone at Coastal Kitchen. Not only was the food 10/10, but they were extremely willing to come up with options in my budget. I also had the pleasure of taking a cooking class here and it was a blast! Definitely recommend using them.

Coastal Kitchen catered our "destination wedding" in Bluffton, SC! We call it a destination wedding because my groom and I live nowhere near Bluffton, and every one of our guests had to travel in to be there with us. Planning a wedding and coordinating vendors from afar presents additional challenges- I am so happy that we chose this business for catering as they did a phenomenal job! From the beginning stages of figuring out what to have on the menu, to timelines and logistics, to experiencing the actual meal- everything was phenomenal! To start we did the tomato sandwiches and caprese kabobs- both vegetarian friendly and so delicious. The NY strip steak was juicy and cooked to perfection. The roasted veggies had a sweet and tangy glaze that was also perfection. The parker house ROLLS- let me tell you about these rolls- airy, squishy, pull-apart-y, a little bit salty and served with a honey butter- perhaps the best bread I have ever had. Everything else was top notch as well, and the service/servers who staffed the evening were polite, fun, and sweet. I would recommend them to anyone!! Do yourselves a favor and give them a call 🙂

DO IT!!! The BEST caterers in Georgia (maybe the whole southeast), I promise you. I have food snobs in my family and they were raving about my wedding buffet. The menu options are limitless and customer service unmatched. Leading up to my wedding, their team replied to any emails/calls within the hour. They could easily charge double for the quality they deliver. I’d bet everything I have on Coastal Kitchen. 11/10

I am writing to share my disappointing experience. Unfortunately, his behavior overshadowed what should have been a joyful occasion.
During the event, he used foul language with our wedding coordinator, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. Additionally, he failed to provide all of the food we had paid for. While I understand that a hurricane affected operations, clear communication would have made a world of difference. Every other vendor went above and beyond to deliver their services, which made his lack of professionalism stand out even more.
Although the food was very good, I cannot support someone who treats others with such disrespect. His accusations and unprofessionalism affected not only the wedding team but also our family.
It’s disheartening to see a business behave in this manner, especially when the other reliable vendors stepped up when needed. I want to share this experience so that others can be aware and avoid similar disappointments on their special day.

Manager Steve is very unprofessional and prejudice against people with disabilities, even when he doesn't know what the disabilities are, couldn't be bothered with finding out, just ignored the person. He ignores Federal ADA guidelines and isn't even professional enough to speak to the person he was so ignorant towards. Very sad. Steve, alot of people with disabilities do better things in live than some people whom are perfectly healthy.
