Steven Williams discovered his passion for the culinary arts at a young age while growing up in Savannah, Georgia. Steven studied at the Culinary Institute of Savannah and graduated in 2008. He then trained up and down the East Coast turning his passion into his career. After training, he accepted the position of Sous Chef at Nick Mueller & Co. in Savannah. He then moved on as Chef de Cuisine at Figs in Nantucket Island, Massachusetts from 2012-2016. Four years of harsh Northern winters had him missing his Southern roots, so he moved back home as Savannah Golf Club’s Sous Chef in 2016.
Steven and his beautiful family of four still reside in Savannah, and he is now the proud owner of Coastal Kitchen. Coastal Kitchen specializes in high-end home entertainment, weddings, and corporate events with an emphasis on fresh and local ingredients from organic farms and fisheries.Whether it’s an intimate plated function or a large scale banquet, Chef Williams can curate a menu that suits any taste. Steven appreciates everything he’s learned in the past, and thoroughly enjoys his current clients. He looks forward to all that the future has to hold. Creating culinary experiences is what keeps driving him forward each day.
